This Shoesme first walking shoe has been developed with care and attention by Shoesme from sole to eyelets. It is made of pink supple leather, with an allover leopard print. The beige sole is made of 100% rubber and provides extreme flexibility and cushioning and is also durable. The sole has a refined toe cap and is finished on all sides, so that your little one can easily clamber up when crawling or sitting. The perforated microfibre lining absorbs and releases moisture. This ventilates and protects the feet against heat and cold. The orthopedic footbed provides good support and is also removable.

Extreme Flex® - Baby Flex
The right support for the first steps is extremely important. These first baby shoes with flexible sole offer little ones the best protection and stimulation while learning to walk.

Why Extreme Flex concept?
All parts - from flexible rubber sole to orthopedic footbed - have been developed by Shoesme with the greatest care.

The flexible sole
The starting point for this shoe is a very flexible sole, which bends in the right place, namely at the ball of the foot. Shoesme consciously opts for a more expensive sole of 100% rubber in order to be guaranteed the best properties, such as flexibility, cushioning and durability.
The sole has a refined toe cap and round shapes on all sides. This allows a child to crawl or sit up easily. It also ensures that the shoe is protected against damage.

Extreme Flex® concept | First step protection
Not only the outsole, but also the inside of the Extreme Flex concept has been designed by Shoesme with great care and attention. A child's foot in this phase does not yet have solid bone, but consists of cartilage that has not yet been formed. That is why Shoesme has developed its own orthopedic footbed especially for this group, completely tailored to the feet of small children who are learning to walk.

The orthopedic insole
At the front of the insole are cushioning blocks that ensure that the sole stays in place. On the inside of the sole there is light arch support, to ensure that a child does not stand in at the ankles. This footbed is slightly supportive, provides shock absorption and is lightweight. When you press on the footbed you feel the soft cushioning and also the support. The light heel cup ensures that the foot stays in place. A good footbed is often underestimated, but it is very important for the proper development of a child's foot.
The perforated microfibre lining has the property that it absorbs and releases moisture, ventilates and protects the feet against heat and cold. Together with the orthopedic footbed, the microfibre lining ensures that the shoe is comfortable and provides the right support for the first steps.

Size chart for baby and children's shoes
Feet can differ in length, always use the longest foot for the correct shoe size. Measure the distance from the heel to the tip of the big toe, which is the foot length in centimeters. Always assume the longest foot for shoe size. The sizes in the size chart below include space for growth. Unsure between two sizes? Then round up.
